Here, we achieved a soothing, beachey feel by adding a pale taupe to all the walls, then installing a tongue & groove headboard wall. We whitewashed it to give it that aged, sunwashed look. Next, we updated the homeowner’s cherry dresser and nightstands by stripping the orangey red stain and swapping it with a light brown driftwood stain instead. Lastly, we updated the bed with pops of navy, in the throw pillow and blanket, and adding a whitewashed mirror to the side wall.
