Our homeowners had builder-grade oak cabinets that made the spaces feel dated and tired. White was definitely the direction we needed to go, but choosing the right white was directed by finding a shade that worked with their new white subway tile backsplash. Pure White, by Sherwin Williams was the winner here. It has just a drop of gray in it, which softened it just enough to work with the new granite countertops as well.
