This washer and dryer was squeezed into the family’s back hallway, near the garage. The tiny set of cabinets over the front loading washer & dryer not only provided a very tiny amount of storage but it also turned out to be the dumping ground for everything. To solve that problem, and to also give the family a TON more pantry space, we had custom cabinets built in around their new stackable units. We had MDF doors made to mimic the beadboard wainscoting that lined the hallway, and then painted everything with Chantilly Lace. Some new oil rubbed bronze hardware finished off the look. And adding large, soft close drawers and doors gave them a hint of luxury. Now, there’s more than enough room for everything!
