Dover White with Brown Sugar Glaze Kitchen, Bar & Mudroom

This large home had a lot of varying wood tones, which were making the rooms look dark. For the kitchen, the owner kept the island in its original stained color. We painted the remaining cabinets in Dover White by Sherwin Williams. On top of the paint we added a heavy glaze wash in Brown Sugar by Benjamin Moore, for an old world look which complemented the stain color in the island, existing granite and backsplash.
