This is a big beautiful kitchen with high ceilings and a double row of upper cabinets. But having black cabinets in a kitchen with no direct sunlight can make the space seem dark and dreary. Our homeowners had just purchased the home and loved the kitchen, but they wanted to change things up from the dark espresso color of their cabinets and Island. Same for their master bathroom.
The existing granite and back splash were staying so it was crucial that we work with the beige and golden undertones. Sherwin Williams Creamy was the perfect choice to blend with all those shades in the travertine tile! Sherwin Williams Studio Taupe was chosen for the island. It’s in keeping with the warm tones of the backsplash but it brought in a deeper tone. New bar pulls were added on their doors and drawers, in varying sizes (very trendy!) and now they have a whole new look!
