This kitchen had dark cabinets and granite which made the already small space seem smaller and darker. Our homeowners decided to replace their back splash with a white, textured subway tile and then we painted their wall cabinets in (a super bright) ceiling bright white. The island was painted in Watery, a light greenish blue, which gives it a splash of color. It really transformed the space!
