This Kitchen had nice cabinets, but the dark color of the stain and that of the floor gave no contrast at all. It was all very dull and monotone. They chose to paint their cabinets and island in Sherwin Williams Alabaster which contains “greige” undertones. They replaced their back splash with a tear drop mosaic in whites and grays and redid their wood floors with a stain that had more gray undertones. Now everything pairs nicely while also providing a good contrast.
