Our Painting Process
1. Door and Drawer Front Removal
We carefully remove all doors and drawer fronts, bringing them to our shop for spraying. This ensures they are painted in a controlled environment, free from humidity and dust, to achieve a flawless finish.
2. Preparation
Prep work is the key to a long-lasting paint job! We begin by thoroughly cleaning your cabinet boxes and doors with a heavy-duty degreaser to remove all dirt and grease. Then, we degloss the surfaces to create an optimal base for painting, setting the foundation for a durable, professional finish. Next, we scuff the surfaces and lightly sand them to ensure the primer adheres perfectly. Finally, we fill in major imperfections that surfaces may have.
3. Painting Cabinet Boxes
Depending on your preference, we will either hand-paint or spray your cabinet bases, delivering a beautiful, smooth, and durable finish that complements your freshly painted doors and drawer fronts.
Hand-painting is an option if you are on a budget or simply don’t want to go through the spray process.
Spraying your cabinet boxes requires more prep work and it’s going to give them the same factory finish your doors are having by having sprayed at the shop.
4. Door and Drawer Front Installation
After spraying the doors and drawer fronts in our shop, we return to reinstall them onto your cabinets. We will be reusing the existing hinges or replacing them with soft close hinges.
5. Hardware Installation
To complete the process, we expertly install your chosen hardware, ensuring every detail is perfect.

Following this multi-step process helps us to give you a superior quality, beautiful, and hand-crafted finish.
Enjoy your beautiful new kitchen!
